Dates of summer term sessions have been added to our calendar.

Please note not all sessions run on consecutive weeks - please check the calendar to make sure you are aware of when you child is going to be attending their session.

Children need to come to school on the day of the sessions dressed in suitable clothes ready to participate.

The book fair will be open tomorrow (Wednesday) from 3:20pm until 7:30pm.  Please come and visit and support school - the more books you buy, the more free books school can claim.
  • School CLOSED - Friday 2nd March

    Thu 01 Mar 2018
School will be closed tomorrow (Friday 2nd March) due to the current inclement weather. The forecast for overnight and tomorrow is not favourable. Drifting snow has compromised the safety of the site.
  • OFSTED INSPECTION - 16th & 17th January 2018

    Mon 15 Jan 2018
Please be aware there will be an OFSTED INSPECTION on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th January 2018.
  • School OPEN - Wednesday 13th December

    Tue 12 Dec 2017

School will be open as normal tomorrow (Wednesday 13th December).

The alley and pathways have been cleared and gritted, but please take care as low temperatures overnight mean that there are likely to be patches of ice.

    All normal emtrances are accessible.

Please send your children to School in wellies with shoes to change into.

  • School CLOSED - Tuesday 12th December

    Tue 12 Dec 2017
Regrettably School will be CLOSED again tomorrow. This is due to the condition of the site and concerns over safety of pupils, staff and visitors. The forecast for very low temperatures tonight and the associated dangers tomorrow morning mean that it would be unsafe to open. School will re-open on Wednesday morning at 8:45am as long as conditions improve as they are forecast to.
  • School CLOSED - Monday 11th December 2017

    Sun 10 Dec 2017

Due to the current weather conditions we have taken the decision to CLOSE School tomorrow (Monday 11th December).  This decision has been made based on the condition of the School site and ability of staff to get into work.

We plan to re-open on Tuesday morning subject to a favourable change in weather conditions.

  • SNOW

    Thu 07 Dec 2017

In the event of snow overnight/tomorrow morning, we will update parents about whether or not the school will be closed via GroupCall, Twitter and our website.  Please do NOT telephone school.

We will endeavour to stay open, but only if it is safe to do so for BOTH pupils and staff.

Local radio stations (Heart & Free Radio) will also be updated.

We will make a decision as soon as possible, but please help us by preparing.  If it does snow and we stay open, it would be helpful if pupils come to school in wellies with shoes in a bag, that waterproof coats are worn and children have hats and gloves.  Usual entrances will be cleared and maintained for access into school.

Please do not use the School drive or access to the School car park as this makes conditions hazardous for staff.
