2022

Phonics Screening Test.

61% of our year one children (19 out of 31) achieved the required standard in this year's Phonics Screening Test.

44.4% of the 9 year two children who re-took the Phonics Screening Test this year achieved the required standard. This means that 89% of the year two cohort (40 out of 45 children) are now working at or above the required standard.

Scheme.

From September 2022 the teaching of phonics follows the 'Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised' programme. Children are taught in classes in Reception and in groups in Key Stage One.

Phonics Screening Test.

86.7% of our year one children achieved the required standard in this year's Phonics Screening Test.

66.7% of the 9 year two children who re-took the Phonics Screening Test this year achieved the required standard. This means that 93% of the year two cohort (42 out of 45 children) are now working at or above the required standard.
