Phonics Screening Test.

73% of our year one children achieved the required standard in this year's Phonics Screening Test.

75% of the 12 year two children who re-took the Phonics Screening Test this year achieved the required standard. This means that 90.3% of the year two cohort (31 children) are now working at or above the required standard.

Scheme.

From September 2022 the teaching of phonics has followed the 'Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised' programme. Children are taught in classes in Reception and in groups in Key Stage One.
