2017

Phonics Screening Test.

76% of our year one children achieved the required standard in this year's Phonics Screening Test.

40% of the 5 year two children who re-took the Phonics Screening Test this year achieved the required standard. This means that 93% of the year two cohort (42 out of 45 children) are now working at or above the required standard.

Scheme.

From September 2017 the teaching of phonics follows the Letters and Sounds programme. Children are taught in classes.

82% of children are working at the expected level or above (29% at the greater depth standard);

 

Writing:              

56% of children are working at the expected level or above (16% at the greater depth standard);

 

Maths:                 

73% of children are working at the expected level or above (29% at the greater depth standard).
