Fairhaven Primary School was opened in September 1969 as a 5-11 Primary School. It was later extended and its facilities improved to accommodate the needs of 5-12 year olds. From September 1991 the age of secondary transfer reverted to 11. We were therefore re-designated as a 5-11 school with some 300 to 315 children on roll. Children are admitted in September at the age of 4. In September 2020 our Nursery was opened for children aged 3 and 4.
